PDA Overview
The NPSL Player Development Academy (PDA) is designed to bring together high-level players from across the league into a focused training and competition environment.

PDA is built to supplement, not replace, club soccer, allowing players to continue competing with their club teams while accessing an elevated development experience.

This initial structure is designed to ensure a high-quality player experience and strong foundation for the program. The PDA plans to expand team and age group coverage in future seasons, creating additional opportunities for players across the NPSL.
Training Environment

Training sessions will take place at centrally located facilities, providing consistent, high-quality training conditions.
Player Selection

Players are selected through a structured tryout process based on:

A travel team (maximum 18 players) will be selected for each group to represent PDA in top-level competition.

Register for PDA Tryouts

Registration for PDA tryouts is free of charge. Players must register in advance to participate.

The 18-player travel roster represents each team at the end-of-season showcase.

Showcase Participation: Players selected for the PDA travel team will be responsible for their share of travel expenses, with arrangements coordinated by NPSL.​

End-of-Season Showcase – Scottsdale Cup Showcase
The PDA season is tentatively planned to culminate with participation in the Scottsdale Cup Showcase.
Final participation will be confirmed based on program readiness, team selection, and scheduling.
